But prior to the presidential election primary, I supported Ron Paul's run for office, as he truly supports freedom, peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, because he is not under the influence of the global elite, or the illuminati, if you will... the media here largely ignored him or slandered him and outright laughed at him. He was not given a fair chance, despite experience as a 10 term congressman, with the reputation as being one of the most honest people in politics here. I, as the majority of American citizens here, would like to distance myself from the destructive foreign policies of the US government. I would also like to point out that a substantial majority of Americans did not support the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. Therefore, we no longer live in a "Democracy" here-- as the very definition of a "Democracy" is that the will of the MAJORITY of the people of the country prevails. I will conclude this message, as I could continue on for an unnecessarily long amount of time on this subject. Just wanted to get across those two points- that I voted for Obama when presented the choice of two corrupt puppets, he seemed the one to do the least amount of damage. Only time will tell. And the other point being one that you most likely already know, is that many people here no longer trust that our government is working for our best interests any longer, but has its own destructive, self serving agenda.
